Merge PDF
Combine several PDFs and photos into one file. Put them in the order you need, check the pages, then download.
What you can do
- Choose PDFs and photos together: each photo becomes a page, in the order you set.
- Reorder files before merging with the arrows, the position list or by dragging.
- See each file’s size and page count first, and the total pages of the result.
- If one file cannot be read, the others still merge; that file is listed to try again, and goes back where it belonged.
- Files with a password are asked for it; nothing is guessed.
How to do it
- Open Merge PDF and choose your files.
- Set the order and the name of the merged file.
- Press Merge. Check the pages, reorder or delete any, then Download.
Good to know
- PDFs and photos (JPG, PNG, and HEIC where your browser can read it). Word, Excel and PowerPoint files are not converted: save them as PDF first.
- It runs in your browser: the file is not uploaded to NightOwl or anyone else.
- Tested with a 520-page, 128 MB scanned bundle on a laptop. Very large files need a computer with enough memory; phones manage less.
- Bookmarks from each file are kept.
Questions
Is there a limit on the number of files?
No fixed limit. The practical limit is your device’s memory.
Can I merge pages in a different order from the files?
Yes. After merging, Organise pages lets you move, rotate, delete or extract any page, with undo.
