Split PDF
Cut a long PDF into parts: at each main bookmark, into files under a size you set, or every few pages.
What you can do
- Split at bookmarks, with each part named after its section.
- Split into files under a size, for upload limits (a single page larger than the limit is named).
- Split every N pages.
- All parts download together in one zip file.
How to do it
- Open Split PDF and choose a PDF.
- Choose by bookmark, by size or by page count.
- Press Split, then Download the zip.
Good to know
- Page numbers and an index added in NightOwl run on across the parts.
- It runs in your browser: the file is not uploaded to NightOwl or anyone else.
- Tested with a 520-page, 128 MB scanned bundle on a laptop. Very large files need a computer with enough memory; phones manage less.
Questions
Can I take out just a few pages instead?
Yes: use Extract pages in Organise pages to save the pages you tick as one new PDF.
