PDF to PDF/A
Download your PDF as PDF/A, the archive format courts’ e-filing rules prefer, with its text still searchable.
What you can do
- PDF/A-2b, the archive standard (ISO 19005-2).
- Works with Download, Compress, Extract and Remove hidden information.
- Hindi, Marathi and English text stays searchable.
- A page that cannot be PDF/A as it is gets redrawn with its text kept, and you are told which.
How to do it
- Open your PDF and tick Make downloads PDF/A.
- Make any edits, numbering or compression you need.
- Download: the file comes out as PDF/A.
Good to know
- It runs in your browser: the file is not uploaded to NightOwl or anyone else.
- Attached files are left out of a PDF/A download.
